Uma Kelkar Demonstration and YouTube Link

Our guest demo artist for October was Uma Kelkar who is an internationally acclaimed California watercolor artist. The demo featured a rural landscape painted in a fast, loose style. Uma spoke of the need for thoughtful planning time before painting so the work can be in a loose style based on strong compositional principals. Uma then demonstrated her approach to experimenting with color combinations and shapes as a form of play with her paints.
