Ev Hales
Our March demo with Australian artist, Ev Hales marks our first international Zoom presentation for NorthStar members. Ev presented a very instructive demonstration, painting three different skies. She focused on using brush strokes, edge control, color, spatial strategies and composition effectively to create dramatic skies that invoke a particular mood. Ev says, “I want to capture everyday moments that are unique to life today. I want my images to seem effortless and intriguing and my colours to be complex, and like the colour in nature almost indefinable.” For more information about Ev Hales, visit her website and her YouTube channel
