Demonstration by artist Brienne Brown

Our guest demo artist for January was Pennsylvania-based artist, Brienne Brown. Brienne is a visual artist and teacher who especially loves plein air painting. Her demo focused on the skills and techniques for painting snow. Brienne described in great detail how to interpret the play of light on snow and how to use color and value to create the image in watercolor. The final painting of a scene near her home is called Winter Shadows.
