David Daniels presented a demo that showcased his unique watercolor style and techniques. He first showed us how he mounts his paper on an aluminum backing so he can frame his finished paintings without the need for protective glass.  Then he explained his technique of applying frisket 2-3 times throughout the painting process to achieve a batik-like effect in the final painting.  The result of his use of color, his emphasis on values, and his masking techniques resulted in a strikingly luminous image.  You can learn more about his work at https://mrwatercolor.com/
