Plein Air Events

Join NorthStar Watermedia Society for plein air painting—an inspiring way to connect with nature, fellow artists, and the joy of creating art outdoors in the moment. Plein Air outings are sponsored by NSWS, and are open to ALL Painters including non-members. Lunch arrangements are up to the individuals or join the group at a restaurant. Group Paint Events

Join local group painting events across Minnesota with NorthStar Watermedia Society—an opportunity to explore beautiful landscapes, connect with fellow artists, and grow your skills in a fun, supportive community. Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just starting out, all are welcome to share in the creative experience! See events above in calendar. Monthly Meetings

Meetings are usually held on the third Thursday of the month September through June at the Roseville Oval at 7:00. Member privileges include monthly membership meetings which include any of the following: painting demonstrations or critiques, slide shows, discussion of supplies and their sources, painting critiques or demonstrations, panel discussions featuring locally or nationally known watercolor artists who teach unique approaches to the media.
