DESCRIPTION:Join NorthStar for an evening of fun with watercolorist\, Dan Wiemer. Dan will paint a beautiful\, stylized North Shore scene\, using transparent watercolor and opaque acrylic. Dan is obsessed with design\, negative shape making\, and the ruggedness of the North. These obsessions led him to study Canadian painters\, most notably the Group of Seven. They are personally relatable to him. Their career paths evolved from graphic designers to illustrators to painters. This has been Dan’s path as well.
