DESCRIPTION:Dow Art Gallery\, 2242 University Ave. St. Paul\, MN 55114\nEntry is limited to NSWS members. All experience levels are welcome! Each member may submit one painting for a fee of $25 or two paintings for $30.00.\nCatherine Hearding has agreed to jury the show. \nRegistration for the exhibition is now open! Please use the online form to register. This is the easiest and most secure way to register. Please click on this link to register. At the end of the form\, click the submit button and you will be directed to a secure on-line payment system through Square. If you use this link\, there is no need to print or mail your form. After you complete your registration\, you will be given instructions on where to email a photo of your painting(s). \nIf you are not able to use the on-line form\, you may print a copy of the form to mail with your check. Click here to download and print in pdf format. Paper membership forms and checks can be mailed to: NSWS Member Exhibition\, c/o  Mary Zadach\, 1023 Nebraska Ave West\, St. Paul\, MN 55117. \nDeadline for registration is 11:59 p.m. April 17\, 2025. \nRULES\n\nEach current member may submit one or two painting(s) done after March 2022\nThe work must be completely original to the artist and not done in a class and not previously exhibited in any NSWS exhibition. Try to incorporate green into your work so we have a cohesive display.\nThere is no jury for acceptance in the exhibit. Our juror\, Catherine Hearding\, will choose awards.\nThe maximum size of framed art cannot exceed 42” in any direction.\nAcceptable mediums are watercolor\, acrylic\, casein\, gouache\, water-soluble ink\, and egg tempera\, with no more than 25% collage or drawing. Collage items must have been created by the artist.\nAcceptable supports are paper\, yupo\, canvas\, canvas board\, or board.\nArtwork must be family friendly\, no hate or nudes.\nArtwork 24” or larger in any direction must be framed with plexiglass\, only if the painting would normally be covered by either glass or plexi.\nAll art must have a hanging wire\, center 2 inches from the top of the frame. No sawtooth hangers.\nDow Gallery will assist in sales. There is no commission on sales. Sold artwork must remain in the exhibit until it closes. The artist is responsible for their own insurance.\nEntrants give NSWS permission to make digital images of submitted paintings for virtual show and promotional materials.\nSubmit photo(s) of your artwork digitally to LouAnn Hoppe at louhoppe@gmail.com and Shakun Maheshwari at: shakuntaladesign@yahoo.com. Please send a JPEG or JPG that is under 5MB\, 72 ppi\, with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side.
